Noah’s Ark Park – Lucky Severson visits Noah’s Ark Park which opened in July in Northeastern Kentucky and talks to Park CEO Ken Ham and Park critics. Ham claims it is the most authentic recreation of Noah’s Ark in the world, 510 feet long and seven stories from ground level to the bow. Critics object to tax breaks provided by the state and the statement of faith required of employees but Ham points to the number of jobs he’s created and the revenue the Park will bring to the area.
Mother Teresa’s Legacy – On September 4th, Mother Teresa of Calcutta will become a Saint. In 1950, she created the Missionaries of Charity Sisters who care for the poorest of the poor around the world. But during her lifetime, few people knew that she suffered from a deep spiritual darkness. She wrote “The place of God in my soul is blank.” Deborah Potter speaks with Missionary of Charity Sisters in Miami, Rev. James Martin, S.J. author of “My Life With the Saints,” and Jim Towey, the President of Ave Maria University, and a personal friend of Mother Teresa.
