The theologian Karl Barth once famously said (or maybe he didn’t) that Christians should live with a Bible in one hand and a newspaper in the other.
The Tampa Tribune is the latest U.S. newspaper to make Barth’s vision a reality, as they delivered Bibles with their newspapers to subscribers as part of an effort by the International Bible Society.
Newspapers in Philadelphia, Texas and Washington state have done similar giveaways.
