Pope Francis’ visit to the United States has many Catholics and Christians confused as to how he could place Islam on equal footing with Christianity.
Speaking at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York, he called Muslims “brothers and sisters:” “I would like to express two sentiments for my Muslim brothers and sisters….” (1) A few months earlier Pope Francis told his Vatican guests: “Jesus Christ, Jehovah, Allah. These are all names employed to describe an entity that is distinctly the same across the world.” (2) Steve Magill, author of the book “Revelation and the Age of Antichrist,” commented that the Pope’s support of Islam, and departure from traditional Christianity, should not come as a surprise since it is the official teaching of the Catholic Church: “The Church has also a high regard for the Muslims. They worship God, who is one, living and subsistent, merciful and almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth (Cf. St. Gregory VII, Letter III, 21 to Anazir [Al-Nasir], King of Mauretania PL, 148.451A.), who has spoken to men.” (3)
Neither should the Pope’s support be a surprise to students of prophecy. Magill commented: “It is clear, in chapter 13 of the book of Revelation, that the second beast has two horns. These horns are interpreted as kings. These kings are like a lamb, indicating they are like Jesus. Since we are expecting the arrival of Jesus Christ and the Antichrist at any time, then we must also acknowledge that these two religious kings are right now operating in our world. As we observe the world scene, these could be none other than Islam (a distortion of Judaism) and Catholicism (a distortion of Christianity). This reveals that Islam and Catholicism are two sides of the same coin to lead the majority into great deception and a departure from Christ.” Though the present Pope is more vocal and bold than previous popes, we can expect an increase in this support from Pope Francis and any of his successors.
The Pope’s increasingly public comments embracing Islam is according to Lucifer’s design, as recorded in the book of Revelation and outlined in the new book, “Revelation and the Age of Antichrist.” Magill outlines how Catholicism and Islam will eventually compel, with force, all people to receive the soon coming cashless economic mark, which is presently being set in place. To not accept this mark will mean death at the compelling of Catholicism and Islam. Author Steve Magill writes in his new book:
“When this global economic system and mark of the beast arrive, the heads of Catholicism (the Pope) and Islam (the Mahdi) will have the power from the Devil to do many miracles in order to deceive people into accepting this new economic system as a good thing, to make an image of this global beast/empire, and cause everyone who does not accept this new world order to be killed (Rev. 13:7, 15).” (4)
