Pepperdine University is proud to announce that its 2016 The Veritas Forum will feature Ravi Zacharias, Christian apologist thought-leader and author. Zacharias will deliver his address “What Gives Humans Value?” at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, on Tuesday, February 16, at 7 PM.

Zacharias, founder and president of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries, has spoken all over the world for 43 years at scores of universities, addressed writers of the peace accord in South Africa, and military officers at both the Lenin Military Academy and the Center for Geopolitical Strategy in Moscow. At the invitation of the President of Nigeria, he addressed delegates at the First Annual Prayer Breakfast for African Leaders held in Mozambique.

Zacharias has authored and edited well over 20 books including the Gold Medallion winner “Can Man Live Without God” (1994) and his latest books: a graphic novel version of “The Lamb and the Fuhrer” (2014) and “Why Suffering?” coauthored with Vince Vitale and released by FaithWords in October 2014.

Pepperdine University chaplain Sara Barton shared, “I am pleased that The Veritas Forum and Ravi Zacharias will be in our community this year. With our annual focus on apologetics, we have an opportunity to emphasize the ultimate apologetic, which occurs every time God’s people are filled with Christlike character. Our topic this year will center on what it means to be human, and I look forward to engaging conversation that will invite us to examine humanity’s relationships with God on both an individual and institutional level.”

The Veritas Forum at Pepperdine University provides an opportunity for the University and its guests to gain a deeper understanding of faith by exploring basic truths of God and humanity together.

The Veritas Forum will take place on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 7 PM in the Firestone Fieldhouse at Pepperdine University, 24255 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA 90263. The event is free and open to the public however, tickets are required for admittance. Tickets can be reserved at here.
