Welcome to the first Religion News Service Twitter roundup! This is where we share with our readers some tweets we found interesting from around twitterverse – or where the most profound, enduring questions of the universe are boiled down to 140 characters or less.

Let’s jump right in, shall we?

Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Church brought a little levity to the feed today, offering some Creation-themed humor:

@RickWarren – When God confronted Adam about his sin, Adam took it like a man…he blamed a woman.

The Pope, meanwhile, seems to be on the other end of some digital jokes. Benedict XVI – who issued his first tweet just this past week – now has his own fake twitter doppelganger, @PopeBenedictXVI, who strives to lead followers astray:

@PopeBenedictXVI – Eeeh, that communion wine was bit strong this morning. I’ve only just woken up after my afternoon snooze. Where did I put my Prada slippers?

Others, however, were busy wishing the Pope a Happy Feast Day on this the day of St. Benedict’s feast.

In more motivational news, the Dalai Lama, who is visiting Washington D.C. at the moment, offered some inspiration for his followers..:

@DalaiLama – Whether we like it or not, we’re all connected, and it is unthinkable to be happy all by oneself.

Finally, media maven and “America’s Rabbi” Rabbi Shmuley, who is in Britain for a debate, was apparently astounded by how seriously Londoners take their, er, facilities:

@RabbiShmuley – In london the toilets get awards http://yfrog.com/kirpzfj
