According to an Italian newspaper, the former mistress of a deceased mobster has told Italian investigators that a 15-year-old girl’s kidnapping and murder 25 years ago was committed on orders from the late Archbishop Paul Marcinkus, the American head of the Vatican Bank who was linked to the Banco Ambrosiano scandal.
