Nashville, TN: – Actor/producer KIRK CAMERON has made national news headlines as he announced the release date for his most personal project to date regarding his faith in God. Cameron has invited audiences nationwide to join him on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, for his one-night live event of UNSTOPPABLE to nearly 700 theaters nationwide. (www.unstoppablethemovie.com).

UNSTOPPABLE created a social media firestorm when both Facebook and YouTube prohibited audience’s access to the film’s trailer, labeling it as “unsafe” and “abusive.”  Over half a million of Cameron’s fans rallied to protest the blocking of the web site, and after several days, both social media sites allowed access. Followers of Cameron’s continue to rally online support, interacting at an incredible rate on his nearly 700,000-strong Facebook page.

UNSTOPPABLE is an artistic and compelling documentary that takes audiences on a journey to the beginning of creation, and chronicles events that offer a deeper meaning of the role that pain and suffering have in our lives. UNSTOPPABLE will prompt audiences to consider their personal views on faith, and encourage conversation starters about God, suffering, and hope.

Cameron, who has been scrutinized by liberal audiences for standing firm on his Christian views of faith, family, and morality, experienced record-breaking success for his 2012 one-night theatrical event Monumental.

The event will feature music from guests that include Dove nominated artist Warren Barfield, whose song “Love is Not a Fight” was featured in the independent blockbuster film “Fireproof”, and former American Idol contestant and Grammy and Dove nominated recording artist Mandisa.

Kirk Cameron is best known for his memorable role of “Mike Seaver”, a cultural icon of the 80’s, with his mullet hairstyle, cool glasses, and wisecracking comebacks.
