ATLANTA, Oct. 17, 2013 – The Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist’s bestselling debut CD, MATER EUCHARISTIAE, has grabbed the No. 1 spot on Billboard magazine’s Classical Traditional Chart for the eighth week.

MATER EUCHARISTIAE held off prominent artists such as Andrea Bocelli, The Piano Guys, Sarah Brightman and Lindsey Sterling to secure the top spot on the Billboard chart.

“The Sisters continue to shock and awe with the success of their recording MATER EUCHARISTIAE, an outstanding contribution to art and culture,” said Monica Fitzgibbons, cofounder of De Montfort Music. “The Sisters have humbly shared their music, and we have received an incredible outpouring of stories from those who have been healed and helped by the beauty of their music. We wish to congratulate them and thank all who have supported this effort to uplift hearts through the arts.”
