Religion News Foundation welcomes major grant to expand religion journalism
Religion News Foundation (RNF) today announced that Lilly Endowment Inc. has approved a $4.9 million grant to the Religion News Foundation (RNF) aimed at enhancing the quality and scope of religion journalism around the world. The Global Religion Journalism Initiative grant, conditional upon receiving a favorable determination regarding private foundation tax law requirements, would be an unprecedented investment in religion journalism.

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Religion News Foundation (RNF) today announced that Lilly Endowment Inc. has approved a $4.9 million grant to RNF aimed at enhancing the quality and scope of religion journalism around the world. The Global Religion Journalism Initiative grant, conditional upon receiving a favorable determination regarding private foundation tax law requirements, would be an unprecedented investment in religion journalism.
