COLUMBIA, Mo. — Religion News Foundation (RNF) is pleased to announce a $500,000 collaboration with the Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Fetzer Institute, which underwrites news and resources related to the changing religious and spiritual landscape in the United States and around the world.
The partnership, which runs through June 30, 2020, supports:
- New RNF ReligionLink source guides and updates to the RNF Religion Stylebook. These tools support the work of Religion News Association (RNA) members – professional journalists covering religion;
- Scholarships for Millennial Fellows to attend the RNA annual conference and pre-conference programming; and,
- Independent and professional reporting on the changing religious and spiritual landscape by RNF’s subsidiary, Religion News Service (RNS), including, a dedicated blogger.
“This is an outstanding and timely opportunity to collaborate with the team at Fetzer Institute,” says RNF President and CEO Thomas Gallagher. “We are deeply grateful to the Fetzer Institute to allow RNA and RNF to support and encourage the work of up-and-coming religion journalists and to enable additional reporting by RNS on a critical topic of Millennials and spirituality.”
